Changing room and storage solutions for emergency services
For fire services, rescue teams, ambulance services and trauma teams, every second counts. Protective clothing, helmets, boots and other equipment must therefore be stored in an organised way and remain immediately accessible.
Following the bankruptcy of Aestic Producten in Varsseveld, Kupan acquired relevant expertise, product information and available parts from Aestic's specialised changing room furniture range. In particular, the many years of experience with firefighter changing room systems and the furnishing of fire stations within the Dutch safety regions provide a valuable foundation for our current solutions.
We incorporate this knowledge into the development of new Kupan models. For new projects, we therefore first look for a suitable solution within the Kupan Omnia range. Where an existing Aestic model closely corresponds to a current Kupan solution, we offer the Kupan alternative wherever possible. As a result, the original Aestic products will gradually be phased out.
At the same time, we want to continue supporting existing Aestic customers as effectively as possible. Kupan still has a range of original spare parts available and, where possible, can assist with the replacement, extension, modification and maintenance of existing Aestic changing room systems and fire station installations.
When designing a changing room, we look beyond the product itself and focus on everyday operational practice. How many people use the room? What are the walking routes when responding to an emergency? Where are helmets, boots and protective clothing stored? And how can wet or damp equipment be properly ventilated and dried after an incident?
Based on these requirements, Kupan works together with the customer to create a suitable changing room solution. This may consist of a wall-mounted, freestanding or double-sided system, optionally combined with benches, lockers, clothes hangers, helmet storage, boot racks and drying solutions with active dry-air circulation.
Even when the required configuration cannot be found in a standard model, Kupan is happy to help develop the right solution. Particularly for unusual spaces or specific requirements, we work together to find a practical solution that suits the available space, equipment and working methods.
